EMT - Transport Team - WA (Part Time)

Position Type: Part time: 12, 24, 48 hour shifts available. Extra work available on our special events and training division’s

Starting Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be good to yourself and others
  • Administer care in accordance with Local Protocol and appropriate level of care.
  • Lift and move patients as required.
  • Communicate with receiving facility to provide critical information and ensure a safe transfer of patient care.
  • Assist with keeping station clean and organized.
  • Safely operate AdvMedics vehicles
  • Liaise with Hospital Staff in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, ventilator, Medication infusion pumps, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.
  • Be competent in documentation that accurately reflects care provided and meets Company documentation standards.
  • Maintains clinical proficiency and competency per regulatory and accreditation compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years in an emergency setting
  • Current EMT license in Washington state or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Lift and move patients as required
  • BLS
  • EVOC
  • Clean driving record
